Gordon, John P. (Jack) of Lynbrook, NY (formerly of Richmond Hill) entered into eternal life on January 26, 2010.

Retired NYPD, Honor Legion Member, Past Commander, American Legion and Catholic War Veterans Posts, Member of the Knights of Columbus and Ancient Order of Hibernians. Jack was an active parishioner at Our Lady of Peace Church and a well-known member of the Lynbrook community. Former Manager of Nathan Hale Housing.

Loving husband of 57 years to Anne P. (nee Gillespie). Cherished father of Mary (Alan) Murphy, Virginia (William) Murphy, John P. Jr., Jane (Andrew) Julien, William (Barbara), Robert (Deirdre). Dear father-in-law of Christina. Beloved grandfather of 22 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Mary Monahan. Predeceased by brothers Joseph and Frank. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
