I first met Gertrude at Peter and Chela's Wedding. I was humbled by her warm smile and sweet, caring personality. My prayers are with all the friends and family members .. May God be with you.

Deepest sympathy to our family of cousins. We mourn our mothers together but fondly remember their love and kindness. Aunt Gert is in our hearts and prayers and we are thankful for her beautiful life.

I want to thank Peter and Chela for giving me the opportunity to know Gert for the last 2 1/2 years. She was a wonderful person and a good friend. She used to tell me she was lucky to find me and that I was more than her companion, I was her friend. I used to tell her we were lucky to have found each other. Thank you for allowing me into your home and into your family. I miss my friend!
